KIBBUTZ BE'ERI SURVIVOR
Born in the rough climates of Far Eastern Russia, Ilya Taraschansky made Aliyah to Israel and settled into Kibbutz Be’eri in the late 90s. Life in the kibbutz was an idyllic contrast, where he raised his three children in what they often described as a taste of Heaven on earth. On October 7th his reality was shattered when Hamas terrorists burnt down Ilya’s home, murdered his son, and kidnapped his daughter.
